Angular Chelitis and HIV / Angular Chelitis and Thrush?

Hi,

Recently I was diagnosed and treated for Trichomoniasis, which resulted in me getting a yeast infection. During my treatment for Trich, I took my pills wrong, taking one a day for four days, instead of taking four pills at the same time. Shortly after those four days, I developed cracked mouth corners, one with a very tiny pin sized bump. I’m fairly certain it’s not HSV-1 or 2. I’ve always had dry lips and I don’t drink much of anything at all, let alone water. Especially during the past two weeks, I’ve been so stressed out, I haven’t been eating, I’ve been losing weight, I’ve been sneezing a bit, I’ve had HORRIBLE indigestion, I’ve had a slight sore throat. I don’t know if these are symptoms of HIV exposure or simply horrible, horrible stress.

Now that I am examining my cracked mouth corners, I am realizing I probably have angular chelitis. Angular chelitis is often caused by oral thrush. I do have thrush now, and I have touched my vagina, my eyes and my mouth. Could my condition be due to thrush, or is it because of HIV, or is it because of stress?

What do you think? Bear in mind that I did have other symptoms other than angular chelitis and that I DID catch trichomoniasis. Also bear in mind that the partner who gave me the STI was a young, single, Black male from the east coast.
Thank you. I forgot to mention that I went to the doctor this afternoon. They gave me the proper medication and an HIV test, which I cannot see the results for until after the 20th. I’m scared.

You need to go see a doctor. Instead of playing the guessing game with people here let a proper MD check you out and make sure he/she knows about your mix-up with your meds so he/she can treat you properly.
