Driver Finder My girlfriend has cold sores and whenever she gets them i break out with angular chelitis . I have been tested multiple times and have never been diagnosed with the herpes virus but the doctor said i have angular chelitis. I always get white saliva built up at the corner of my mouth..which is the cause. But could i have an immunity to herpes but it causes another oral problem angular chelitis.

No one is immune to herpes, any one can get it. Angular cheilitis is not the same thing as herpes, it can be caused by nutritional deficiencies and it can be infected by Candida bacteria or thrush. Because you have angular cheilitis on your mouth you may not get herpes on your mouth. Saliva build up could be a symptom of angular cheilitis. But if she gives you oral sex while she has a cold sore she could give you oral herpes on your genitals. So don’t let her kiss you or give you oral sex while she has a cold sore.

Nobody is immune to herpes. Cold sores are FORM of herpes. Along with shingles and Chicken pox, but not the kind you have to live with for the rest of your life.
